【Lumina】Terms of Service

1. General
    These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your download and use of the Lumina application (the “App”), owned and operated by Wuhan Aiwujiwu Technology Co., Ltd (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). Our registered office is located at E2, 9th Floor, Building 4-03, Phase 3.3, Optics Valley Core Center, 303 Guanggu Avenue, Donghu Hi-Tech Development Zone, Wuhan, China. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download or use the App.

This Agreement is legally binding. If you do not understand or accept these Terms or the accompanying Privacy Policy, you must exit the App Store and/or Google Play immediately.

By accessing the App, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or if under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
  
• You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
  

In compliance with GDPR, users under 16 residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) may not use the App where restricted by law.

If you allow your child to use the App, including downloads or in-app purchases, you agree to these Terms on their behalf and assume full responsibility for supervising their activities.

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law or business operations. Please review the latest version regularly. Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your access.

2. About the App’s Functionalities
    The Lumina App provides tools for personal, non-commercial use to help parents and families organize children’s learning and daily routines. The App allows users to:
   

• upload or take photos of homework/questions and use AI to generate study reference answers;
  
• create and manage study plans or learning “walls” using templates and task check-ins;
  
• set up daily/weekly family schedules and reminders;
  
• digitize paper school notices or family memos by taking photos and storing them in the App;
  
• record learning and growth moments in a monthly view.
  

Some features may require an internet connection for AI processing or synchronization. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove functionalities at any time.

You acknowledge that AI-generated content is for reference and learning purposes only and may not be 100% accurate. You should verify answers against textbooks, teachers’ guidance, or official materials before relying on them.

3. Access and Use of the App
    The App is available for devices running Android and iOS. Download and certain features may require an internet connection.
   

Free Features: Users may access basic features such as limited homework uploads, basic study/task management, and viewing stored notices.
Premium Features: Access to advanced tools such as full AI homework assistant, full study templates, family schedule, digital notice vault, and growth records requires a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay applicable fees and accept these Terms.

We strive to maintain uninterrupted service but cannot guarantee availability due to circumstances beyond our control. The App may also be subject to geographic restrictions.

4. Updates
    We reserve the right to update or change the App at any time, including adding, modifying, or removing features. Significant updates may be communicated within the App. You accept these updates by continuing to use the App.
   
5. User Commitments (Code of Conduct)
    By using the App, you agree to:
   

• Not impersonate others without explicit permission.
  
• Use the App only for lawful purposes.
  
• Not disrupt, tamper with, or reverse-engineer the App.
  
• Use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  
• Not transfer or sublicense your rights without our consent.
  
• Respect our intellectual property and that of third parties.
  

Violation of these rules may result in termination of access without notice.

6. Subscription and Payment
    Many features are free, but premium services require a subscription. Subscription options (weekly, monthly, yearly) are available via Apple or Google platforms. Payment is securely processed by these platforms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
   

Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription — you must cancel through Apple or Google. Pricing may vary by region and can change without prior notice.

7. Refund Policy
    Refunds must be requested directly through Apple or Google according to their policies. Our Company cannot issue refunds if Apple or Google denies the request. Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for past use.
   
8. Intellectual Property Rights
    All text, graphics, logos, software, and other content within the App are owned by the Company or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal purposes only. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or modification is prohibited and will result in termination of your license.
   
9. Liability Disclaimer
    The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for errors, data loss, unauthorized use, AI output inaccuracies, or third-party content linked through the App. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
   
10. Data Protection
     We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy and Cookie Policy. Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect your information.
    
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
     These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively through arbitration or courts located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. By accepting these Terms, you waive the right to bring disputes in any other jurisdiction.
